Class of 2024 Course Selection
We are so happy to welcome you to the AC Family!  In order to begin scheduling students for courses, it is important that you let us know what your choices are. Please be sure to watch the attached video first to hear Mr. Naughton explain the options and factors to consider when making selections in each department.

Students and parents should work together to design a schedule that is in the student's best interest and will allow them to be both challenged and successful in high school. In addition to the sections below, note that Physical Education and a Study Hall period will be added to the student's schedule to have a complete program of 6 courses plus a 1/2 credit arts course or the Achievement Center.

Some courses require a placement test. Please select the course you feel is most appropriate. We will be in touch soon with information on how students can complete these placement tests at home during the last week of April; final placement will be based on the results of placement tests.

Please make your selections by April 24, 2020 to allow proper planning time for placement exams.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out to us:
Mr. Naughton, Vice Principal (nnaughton@achs.net)
Mr. Barrett, Director of Enrollment (sbarrett@achs.net)
Mrs. Kiernan, Freshman Guidance Counselor (ckiernan@achs.net)
Mrs. Dever, Achievement Center Director (ldever@achs.net)
Specific academic questions can be sent to Mr. Naughton, who will forward them to Academic Departments.
