The Hive Annual Shorties Film Festival May 2020: Application Form
Launching this project across 7 countries from 19th to 23rd May 2020, the Shorties Film Festival is a non-profit and non-governmental platform and the third annual edition of the Hive Worldwide's initiative to support emerging filmmakers. This annual week-long celebration of APAC's most exciting short films will be held concurrently in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam.

Submit your work via our Open Call from now until the 15th of March. Submissions will then be carefully handpicked and shortlisted to be screened in all Hive locations across APAC, with awards handed out for several categories - watch this space!

KEY NOTES & CRITERIA
1. There is no charge for taking part; we do ask every creative collaborator to actively share their participation on Social Media to support the project and fellow filmmakers.
2. 20 minutes is the maximum duration for films.
3. Films should not be older than 1 year.
4. Short films should have won no awards prior to this festival.
5. Compulsory English subtitles if the film is in a foreign language.
6. By submission of this application you agree to the Declaration and Terms & Conditions [final question below].

Please kindly note that due to the volume of applications, films that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.
