PROTECTIVE ITEMS RECOMMENDED. We have disposable and reusable gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, box cutters and safety vests available. Why are these items recommended? *

TRAFFIC SAFETY. Please do not walk into the street to hand out forms or ask questions. Wait until vehicles have entered the parking lot to a safer spot. *

HYDRATION. Drinks and snacks are provided for volunteers either in the refrigerator or in a cooler. Look for snacks in the hallway. *

REUSABLE GLOVES & BOX CUTTERS. Please remember to bring back your reusable gloves since it can be expensive to replace and distribute new ones each time. Don't forget to leave the box cutters at the church for use next time. *
OUR CLIENTS. Please be pleasant and show kindness to our clients. If someone is rude, please call for Lucy Taylor, Gwen Davis or Pastor Chris Davis to handle the situation before it gets out of control. *

LIMITS. We must set some limits so that we may serve as many as possible. Therefore, a sticky note will be placed on the vehicle’s window indicating the number of families being served in the vehicle. Other guidelines will be provided. *

WALMART items are placed in the front of the building.  These items must be signed for separately and listed on the form by the client receiving the item(s). *

SHOPPING. If you are “working” you should not be shopping. It causes confusion among both the volunteers and the clients in ways that you wouldn’t believe. If one person gets something then others feel they should as well. So please wait until volunteer shopping day or just drive through like the other clients if you want to shop. *

Please do not put anything aside, nor in your car, nor request anything on regular distribution days. We want both our clients and you to have good selections. *

No one (clients or volunteers) should receive more than one of a particular item, especially larger items. *

CLEANING. We need to leave the church clean after Distributions. Most items go to the back room on tables neatly stacked. Larger items under the tables. Place similar items close together. Walmart items go in the back hallway in or near the brown cabinets. Break down most boxes and place them inside other boxes. Place boxes near the front entrance. Set tables back up. Place chairs in the backroom at the end near the freezer. Sanitize door handles including the refrigerator. Clean a restroom occasionally. Sweep the back hallway occasionally. Wipe down the snack area, if necessary. *

VOLUNTEER SHOPPING.  We appreciate our volunteers. So we have Volunteer Shopping Days approximately every four (4) months for our regular, consistent volunteers. At that time, you will be able to select items (as directed) before we distribute the remaining items to our clients. *

NO SELLING. Please remember that you cannot sell any products received from New True Vine distributions. *
