Request for registration of a coat of arms on the Philippine Armorial
Use this form to request registration of a personal or family coat of arms on the Philippine Armorial.

You should submit your own form to ensure you understand the requirements for registration and your consent for registration is properly documented. Registrations submitted by third parties are discouraged.

After submitting, we will email you to confirm your eligibility and to submit images.

Eligibility: Individual citizens and residents of the Philippines, and all persons of Philippine heritage regardless of citizenship or residency, may request registration. The Philippine Armorial does not register the arms of businesses, associations and groups; these should instead consider trademark registration, or inclusion of their arms in articles of incorporation when registered with the SEC.

Designs: Designs should follow general principles of heraldic design as practiced in the Philippines, as described at "Philippine Armorial - Design a coat of arms".

Consent: The Philippine Armorial will only register arms with the consent of the individual, or submitted by a family member on behalf of the individual. By submitting a registration request, you consent to the permanent public record and publication of the information you provide. For research, educational and reference purposes only, the Armorial may publish arms that are already publicly available elsewhere, and will provide corresponding reference links and credit. However, these cannot be registered to an individual without the consent of the individual or their family.

Cost: There is no cost for registration.

Is this request for a citizen or resident of the Philippines, or a person of Philippine heritage? *
Coats of arms of citizens and residents of the Philippines, and of all persons of Philippine heritage regardless of citizenship or residency, may be submitted for registration. Due to the Armorial's mandate, we unfortunately cannot accept registration requests for persons who are not living in the Philippines or not of Philippine heritage, or of businesses, groups or associations, but we thank you for your interest.
Required
Full name *
Name as it should appear on the record. Though arms may be inherited through a family, the name of an individual person is required, not simply a family name
Place of birth *
Town/city, Province/state, Country
Place of current residence *
Town/city, Province/state, Country
Additional biographical details
Additional details such as educational, professional and family history. Optional but encouraged to enhance the value of the permanent public record

If you have the blazon of the coat of arms, please enter it. This is the formal definition of the arms, e.g. "Azure a bend Or"
Meaning and symbolism of the design *
A description of what the items on the coat of arms represent, such as the objects, the shapes and colors. An explanation for all elements of the design is required, to ensure that the intended meaning of the design is permanently recorded for reference

The personal name of the artist who drew the coat of arms, not the name of their company or service. This is required to ensure proper credit to the artist
Date adopted *
The date the coat of arms was first adopted, whether assumed or granted by an official authority

Granting authority or existing registrations
If the coat of arms was granted by a granting authority (e.g. College of Arms, Court of the Lord Lyon, Canadian Heraldic Authority) or registered with an existing registry (e.g. Cronista of Castille and León, United States Heraldic Register, International Society of Commoners Heraldry), please specify the authority/registry, registration number (if applicable) and date
Do you confirm that the coat of arms you are submitting is original and unique to yourself and/or your family? *
It is understood that many designs are similar, and that individuals could independently design arms identical to another, without intent to copy or usurp. However, you cannot register arms that you know belong to another person or family. In particular, you cannot register historic arms associated with your family name, without evidence of descent from the original armiger
Do you confirm that the design of the coat of arms you are submitting is permanent and will not change? *
Only permanent designs are accepted for registration. Once arms are registered, changes can only be done for exceptional reasons (e.g. later discovery of an inherited coat of arms). Draft designs, or designs that might still be changed cannot be accepted
Do you give permission to the Philippine Armorial to publish your details submitted above as a permanent record of your coat of arms? *
The Philippine Armorial will only register arms with the consent of the armiger, or submitted by a family member on behalf of the armiger
