This survey has been compiled by members of the Volkswagen T-Roc Forums and is being conducted in response to the 1st gear 'kangaroo' problem reported by T-Roc owners.

Similar surveys may be set up at a later date for owners of Audi, Seat or Skoda vehicles with the same problem, but in the meantime these other owners should NOT use this survey.

The aim of the survey is to gather information from owners of T-Rocs, with or without the kangaroo fault. Data collected will be analysed to determine the frequency, severity and distribution of affected vehicles so as to determine if there are any correlations with model, engine, gearbox, date of manufacture, delivery date etc.

Owners who have reported the 'kangaroo' problem to their dealer will also be asked to complete some additional questions about the dealer's response, and the response they have received from Volkswagen if the vehicle has been rejected.

NO SENSITIVE OR PRIVATE DATA IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY.

Although the questions in the survey can be viewed and answered by anyone, responses to the survey can only be submitted by registered members of the Volkswagen T-Roc Forums, by entering a passcode obtainable from the forum web site, and in conjunction with a partial vehicle VIN code. We have imposed these requirements in order to ensure the integrity of the data input and subsequent analysis.

The results of the survey will be made available to forum members at a later date, with the aim of raising public awareness and to encourage Volkswagen to be more open about the cause and extent of the problem and to provide an honest outlook for a remedy. Owners may also find the results useful in any discussions they have with dealers or Volkswagen.
