藝術家、作曲家、面具劇場演員及戲劇導師，同時為劇團 Théâtre de l'Ordinaire 的創始人之一，結合傳統意大利即興喜劇和現代元素，創建現代面具劇場。  Bensimhon 舉辦不同兒童及社區面具工作坊，致力把面具劇場帶進社區。同時，積極探索國際文化藝術，跨國創作遍及歐洲、亞洲和非洲，包括曾和亞洲民眾戲劇節協會合作，創作中法面具劇場製作《流芳百世》，於法國、中國內地及香港巡迴演出。   其他作品包括有關認知障礙相關的小丑劇《小丑阿醒阿呆》（ 2021年社區文化大使計劃）、全面具無語言演出《Two Dumb Chefs》、半身偶演出《孤伶伶遇上幸運星》（國際綜藝合家歡2021）、與一路青空聯手創作的《丑小怪》、有關環境保育的全面具無語言劇《Soul 膠太平洋飄浮島》（2020年社區文化大使）、 WeWeWebWeb 合家歡偶戲劇集《公雞的新鄰居》、《打開蚊帳》 (比利時站及香港站)、國際綜藝合家歡 2018《超能阿憂救地球》、J.M. Synge 的 L’Ile Des Esclaves by Marivaux、兒童音樂劇《The Last One Being Tchao!》、於亞維儂藝術節 2016 演出改編自布萊希特 的《Gewehre der Frau Carrar》

 Director and Music Design David Bensimhon  David is a mask performer in theatre, a jazz musician, composer and a drama teacher. He created his theatre company Théâtre de l'Ordinaire at age of 17. He takes part in all productions of the company as an actor/ musician/ director/ composer up to create modern forms within a visual and musical movement theatre, working bodies, texts and masks.   David is dedicated in promoting mask theatre to the community and organising mask workshop for kids and adult. Also, he actively explores culture and arts internationally and participated in different meetings, exchange and transnational creations in Europe and Asia. He has organized many cross-border projects to enhance confluence between artists all over the world.  Recent productions include Community Cultural Ambassador Scheme 2021 Dumpy & Dumby, a clown performance about dimentia; non-verbal mask performace Two Dumb Chefs; half puppet show When Lonely Meets Lucky at International Arts Carnival 2021; The Solstice Family, a co-presented clown show with The Radiant Theatre and La Moustiquaire - Time Killer.
During the pandemic,  several online productions such as Community Cultural Ambassador Scheme 2020 On a Plastic Island, a non-verbal mask performance concerning the environment and WeWeWebWeb Carnival The New Neighbor of Rooster. His works also includes Super Aiyau Saves the World, J.M. Synge 's L’Ile Des Esclaves by Marivaux, children musiccal The Last One Being Tchao! and Gewehre der Frau Carrar, which was also staged at Festival d'Avignon.

Detail:
In this workshop, you will meet the clown hidden in you. With creative and tailor-made exercises and improvisations you will get in touch with the spirit and the techniques of modern clown theatre far from the stereotypes of circus clowns. Sensible, open and free.

In this course, you will learn the basic techniques of mask making, how to translate a feeling into a character that will become alive. From the initial idea to a complex object.

Detail:
In this journey, you will find a character, from your deepest to your strangest. It is you but it is yet another, a new birth. This character will have to learn how to exist on this weird place, the stage. Deal with the space and the happenings. Also with the other. And mainly this character have to perform and for that it needs time.
