2022 Summer School Credit Recovery
Valley View High School is offering a Summer School opportunity for students to make up lost credits.
Summer School will be held June 6 through June 17, 2022
The cost is $50.00 for the session.
Students will be in attendance from 8:00 am- 12:00 pm.
There are 30 seats available on a first registered/paid basis.
To find out if students need to recover credits, parents/guardians may access student semester grades through the home access center on the school website.
Grades for the spring semester 2022 will be available upon completion of the semester.
Parents/guardians may also contact the office for information about their student’s status of potentially needing to attend summer school.
Please note:
The Summer School session is offered to make up credits lost due to failure to pass and/or loss of credit due to attendance.
Typically there is only time to make up a half credit as the session only lasts for 10 days. (40 hours)
The Summer School classes cover the core areas of Math, English, Science and History.
Elective classes are only available for current 12th grade students needing an elective to complete graduation requirements.
The classes are open to students enrolled in Valley View grades 9, 10, 11, 12 this school year.
The Session is 10 days - 4 hours per day. Students must complete work during this time frame to receive credit.
The daily session time is 8:00 am -12:00 pm. Students may bring a snack if they desire.
The Edgenuity Online Learning Platform will be used to complete the courses.
