Field suggestions are encouraged. To be eligible, they must be submitted on this official suggestion form to
director@ryelibrary.org. All field suggestions must then be seconded by a committee member, and periodically the chair will send a list of field suggestions to committee members for this purpose. If, within thirty days, no second is forthcoming, the individual will be dropped from consideration. Only those individuals that have been nominated (and seconded if field suggestions) may be discussed. Furthermore, all nominated individuals must be discussed. Publishers, authors, agents, and editors may not suggest or nominate themselves. They may nominate an individual they work with in the field - e.g. an author may recommend their editor, an agent their author, an editor a publisher.
