2021 Hornet Hive Send-Off Letter
Dear Green JHS 8th Grade Families,

Congratulations!  Your student has completed the first two quarters of this school year! At the end of this year, your child will conclude his/her education with the Hueneme Elementary School District. Thus, we will have an end of the year celebration as a send off for all of our 8th grade students going to high school next year called “2021 Hornet Hive Send-Off.”

Estimadas familias de Green JHS 8th Grade,
¡Felicidades! ¡Su estudiante ha completado los dos primeros trimestres de este año escolar! Al final de este año, su hijo concluirá su educación en el Distrito Escolar Primario de Hueneme. Por lo tanto, tendremos una celebración de fin de año como despedida para todos nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado que irán a la escuela secundaria el próximo año llamado "2021 Hornet Hive Send-Off".  

We understand that this year has been one unlike any other year, and distance learning has been difficult for many families. However, you have done an excellent job and we want to celebrate you! Below you will find the criteria to participate in our end of year activities.
Entendemos que este año ha sido diferente a cualquier otro año, y el aprendizaje a distancia ha sido difícil para muchas familias. Sin embargo, ¡nuestros estudiantes han hecho un excelente trabajo y queremos celebrarlo! A continuación encontrará los criterios para participar en nuestras actividades de fin de año.
What you should do if you are struggling with Distance Learning:
*Log in to all classes every day
*Complete your homework
*Reach out to your teachers to learn about your academic progress
*Join our after school program, ASES, if you need extra help on your assignments
*Let an adult at school know if you have a special circumstance
