We are looking for a passionate SHPE member to lead our SHPEtina committee as the Region 5 SHPEtina Director.
Description of SHPEtina Director position:
Work with Region 5 LeaderSHPE team, under the direction of the Region 5 Vice President (Francis Valencheck). You will be engaging with the SHPE Region 5 Student and Professional Chapters and members, apply strategic planning for SHPEtina themed events, and help lead your community to its highest potential through regional events, both in-person and virtual! - Current paid SHPE member through June 30, 2023
- Experience as Chapter Executive Board member or other LeaderSHPE position
- Experience coordinating events for members, both in-person and virtual
Responsibilities
- Attend Bi-Weekly Regional Team Meetings, and provide detailed status of activities and any support required
- Coordinate a minimum of 2 virtual events per year, target a minimum of 30 participants
- Coordinate a SHPEtina networking event at National Convention (2022, Charlotte, NC)
- Coordinate a SHPEtina networking event at Spring Conference (2023)
- Communicate with Region 5 LeaderSHPE team regularly via text and WhatsApp
- General support and input to Region 5 LeaderSHPE with all matters related to SHPEtinas
- Provide Marketing team with updates, content, for Region 5 SHPEtina events
- Recruit members to the SHPEtina committee, if desired
