At Chipping Norton School (CNS) we would like to ensure that our children and families are supported as fully as possible. One way in which we can do this is by encouraging parents to check if their child is eligible for the free school meal (FSM) provision. Being eligible for the FSM provision can have added benefits throughout your child's time in education at CNS.

We believe that a large number of families and children are missing out on the benefits of being eligible for free school meals. Eligibility has far reaching benefits for the child and their school and it is in everyone's interests to ensure all children who are eligible receive their entitlement.

Annual access to additional bursaries to help cover academic costs (e.g. books, university visits, revision guides).

Annual access to additional bursaries to help cover other school costs (e.g. sports kit / equipment, school uniform and stationery).

Free provision of a brand new Chromebook throughout their time at the school (worth £300).

Access to a university maintenance grant worth up to £10,062 (per undergraduate course).
