Weigh-in Friday, Jan. 31 from 6-8:00 pm at the Kansas Star Arena. Satellite weigh-in sites will be available--sites to be determined. Manhattan has requested a site. Wrestlers must weigh-in wearing a competition singlet. They will conduct skin and fingernail checks at weigh-in--please have your fingernails trimmed and smooth. If you have a questionable skin condition, you must have the appropriate documentation from your primary care physician (NFSHSA Form to be completed by your PCP AND statement that the wrestler is cleared on office letterhead or prescription pad).
Only wrestlers and coaches with a coach's band will be allowed on the arena floor.
GIRLS DIVISION: If you would like to be entered into the girls division, please indicate in the appropriate box below. Girls age divisions: 9U, 12U and 15U. Not required to select a weight class below as there are no pre-set weight classes--girls will be grouped together based on weight.
Split format tournament:
First session (6U, 8U, 14U) starts at 8:00 am. Second session (10U, 12U, Girls division) starts at approximately 1:00 pm. Be on the mat ready to warm up 45 minutes prior to your session.
Concessions will be available. Wrestlers will be permitted to bring water and sports drinks. Entry fee will be $5 for ages 12 and older. Free entry for all wrestlers and ages 11 and younger.
