KS1 PUPIL DEVICE LOAN AND ACCEPTABLE USE OF ICT AGREEMENT
Prior to the events of this week, our plan had been to restrict use of devices in KS1 primarily to the classroom alongside limited use at home in the event of temporary isolations.

This was primarily because the use of devices in KS1 is limited anyway, and the ones they've inherited are now five years old and have long charging cables that aren't ideal to carry back and forth and present a possible trip hazard in the home. The back and forth is paused for now, and a cable tie should solve the trip hazard!

With the prospect of an extended period of remote learning, possibly beyond the February half term for most pupils, we will now need to send them home to support this. Before we can do that we need to wipe and reallocate them to specific pupils.

We also need to put a loan agreement in place for insurance purposes.

Of course, you may already have a suitable device at home and not need one of ours at all.

If you do need one, please indicate this below and then complete the online device loan agreement. I apologise for the length and repetitiveness of the form - for KS2 we used a paper copy which is much easier to digest and complete, despite containing the same content!
