DO YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING CODE OF CONDUCT:
The purpose of the Community Connectors Network is to link with residents in a meaningful way and be a conduit to disseminate relevant health and wellbeing messages across communities in South Derbyshire. The Community Connectors Network will share information on public health issues, such as the importance of vaccinations, advice regarding Long-Covid, information related to the cost of living and other community matters to enable communities and individuals to have increased resilience to Covid-19 and other community issues.
The aim of this network is to give communities the latest information and feedback any question’s residents may have about the journey to recovery from the ongoing effects of Covid and the Cost of Living Crisis.
The role of a Community Connector is really important in ensuring that information is distributed across communities and we would like to say a big thank you for volunteering as a Connector, we could not do this without you.
We are sure you will understand how crucial it is that Community Connectors do not go beyond the boundaries of being a part of the network, so we have put together some guidance. We are sure that we won’t need to impose them on our Connectors but we feel it is easier to be clear from the outset.
Therefore, by signing up as a Community Connector, you are agreeing to this code of conduct. We ask that:
· You share the information sent to you with your contacts and networks.
· You do not make any political statements when sharing the information.
· You do not debate the merits of the guidance or criticise the information. This is to ensure that key messages are not undermined.
· You feedback any questions from the community to your coordinator.
Compliance with this Code is compulsory and you are expected to comply with the Code in the performance of your duties as a Community Connector.
Thank you and welcome to the Network.
*SDCVS reserve the right to terminate our agreement in the event of a breach of this code of conduct.
