Club volunteers should utilize this form to submit their requests for an in-person faculty speaker. You may submit a request at any time. Please note that requests for fall/winter lectures (September - February) lectures will be reviewed over the summer, and again in October. Requests made for
the spring/summer lectures (March - August) will be reviewed on December 1 and again April 1. Requests should be made about 4 months in advance of your desired event date.
You should anticipate hearing from staff with an update on your request approximately 10 business days after the review period begins.
Requests submitted via this form are not guaranteed. We encourage you not to make deposits on event locations until your request has been confirmed.

Please note that Faculty Speaker events represent a shared responsibility of Clubs and the College, in the long tradition of bringing the Smith mission to Smith audiences. Smith College sources faculty and covers the cost of their travel, while Clubs identify a venue and event plan that covers any associated costs of the event itself. Clubs also plan the event itself and work with the College to develop a communications plan. If you are not prepared with an event plan or venue, please contact alumclub@smith.edu before filling out this form.
