This is for Chapter members who are not familiar with you can get to know you and your
motivation and intent in seeking a leadership position. You may write your own (and can keep it simple!) or
consider any or all of the following questions to help guide you:
● Why are you running for this position for your Chapter?
● What is your vision for your Chapter?
● How can you/we better engage, recruit and activate Democrats living in your
chapter?
● What is your relevant volunteer work with DA, DAAU, the Democratic Party, other
political or related organisation(s)?
● If elected, what are top issues in DAAU that you will work to affect and how?
● What three issues are you most passionate about in the DNC’s 2020 Platform?
● How can DAAU inscrease its profile among voters and better work to elect
Democrats?
● How can DAAU cooperate with DA International, the Democratic Party and the DNC
to better represent the issues of Americans living abroad?
● How will you expand this DAAU Chapter for greater participation of members?
