Large Lecture Course Barriers & Solutions Conversation
With Dr. Penny Carroll

Date: Tuesday, December 14th, 2021
Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Location: Virtual session on Zoom (https://uri-edu.zoom.us/j/99518237373?pwd=Zk15UytJYmF4aWRqQU01dEdtOXBadz09)

Large lecture classes (classes with 75+ students) face a whole different set of barriers in the classroom than small-sized classes, such as large-scale student engagement and communication. URI faculty teaching large lecture classes are reporting higher than usual issues this semester.

ATL will host a conversation on the issues facing large lecture courses by exploring barriers and solutions as a faculty community. This forum will also explore data on a post-covid experience. All faculty are welcome to attend this forum, regardless of class size; join us!

Please register below. You will be emailed a registration confirmation with the Zoom info to join.

If you have any questions, please contact Penny Carroll, pennycarroll@uri.edu
