After the overwhelming response with the skate events and our involvement in the steering group of the new skate part at Cann Hall, we have decided to set up a programme for local children (...and adults soon). With British weather not on our side we are looking at a range of options locally. In the meantime we wanted to gauge interest so when we have an appropriate plan we can get started quickly. The lessons we are planning will be taught by a lead facilitator who is experienced working with children, trained with Skateboarding GB, aware and compliant with safeguarding  practices and with established pedagogical capabilities. The lead facilitator will be joined by experienced skateboarders that will be able to support more able skaters and inspire all.
