Girls Lacrosse is fast, competitive, and physical and
ranks 2nd for most concussions in girls sports according to the Academy of Pediatrics.
The most common injury is a blow to the head from a stick per "Head Check Health's" research.
Head protection is only mandatory for girl's lacrosse in the state of Florida (started 2015).
Florida now has a 59% lower rate of concussion than other states.
