Topic: Girl's Lacrosse Concussion Rate
Girls Lacrosse is fast, competitive, and physical and ranks 2nd for most concussions in girls sports according to the Academy of Pediatrics. 
  • The most common injury is a blow to the head from a stick per "Head Check Health's" research.
  • Head protection is only mandatory for girl's lacrosse in the state of Florida (started 2015).
  • Florida now has a 59% lower rate of concussion than other states.
