Art Beat Fashion Show Registration
We are looking for local designers to showcase their clothing and accessory designs at this year's Art Beat on August 15.

Each participant will be able to showcase up to 10 of their pieces. Downtown South Bend (DTSB) will arrange for a changing space, sound system, and MC. Participants will need to furnish the MC with a description of their pieces. If a participant has an MC they would prefer to use, or if they would rather MC their own work, that will also be allowed.

Participants will need to provide their own models. However, if they need assistance finding models, DTSB , may be able to assist with finding them.

You must be located in one of the following counties to be eligible for participation: St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaPorte, Marshall and Starke counties in Indiana and Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan.
 
We will have 2-3 fashion shows during the course of the day, depending on the number of applicants received. Participants will need to be ready the day of the show, with all their models dressed and ready to go at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Because Art Beat is a celebration of local artwork, all of the pieces featured in the fashion shows MUST be created by local designers.

There is no entry fee to participate in the fashion show. However, if you would also like to have a booth space for the day, you will need to pay a $10 fee. If you choose to have a booth, you will need to provide your own 10x10 tent, tables, and tent weights. Additional setup info will be emailed to you at a later date.

In addition to completing this online form, applicants will need to email 4 images that are representative of their clothing/accessory line to Dominique at be.inspired6@gmail.com. The pieces in these photos do not necessarily have to be items you will have modeled in the show, but will serve to give the selection committee a feel for your work. Any questions may also be directed to this email address.

The registration deadline is May 1, 2020.

FEES
Fashion Show artists have the choice of adding a booth space for $10. Upon acceptance, fashion show participants will receive an email giving them the opportunity to request a booth.

Additional, non-refundable fees will be required if you choose any of the following:

•Extra space: $10 per extra space
•Electricity: $20

Payment for these items needs to be received prior to June 20. Checks should be made payable to Downtown South Bend and sent to:
