A Regional Tour of American Indian Cultures at the Mitchell Museum of American Indians

-Accredited schools: $5 per student and chaperone
-Other groups: Adults- $9.00, Seniors- $7.00; Youth/Teen- $5.00
-General length of tours is 1.5 hours*
-General booking times are Tuesday-Friday 10-11:30am or 1:00pm -2:30pm*
-Knowledgeable docents lead groups through our ongoing exhibit and a preselected hands- on craft activity.
-Tours generally focus on similar features of the various regions while discussing unique aspects of the different tribes within each region
-Tours and activities are tailored to age and can be adjusted to highlight certain aspects upon request

-Free parking is provided behind the museum; busses cannot park in the lot.
Booking policies:
-$60 minimum per tour booking
-Groups of 30 or more may be divided into smaller groups; please arrive knowing how your group will be divided.
-Visitors under 17years old must be properly supervised.
-1 chaperone is required for every 5 participants under the age of 12.
-Payment in the form of cash, Visa/MasterCard or check (payable to the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian) is required before the start of tour.
-No lunchroom facilities provided
-Cancellations: Contact the museum as soon as you realize you need to cancel. Organizations will be invoiced based on the amount of students and docents if you cancel within 2 business days of your scheduled tour or if you do not show up for the tour. This invoice must be paid before your organization can reschedule a tour.
