STORIES FROM THE HEART is a queer storytelling workshop program for LGBTQIA+SB teens. 

Applications Open: 1st November 2023 

Applications Close: 10th January 2024 

Participants must be: 

- Between the ages of 15 to 19 (youngest DOB: 20/01/09, oldest DOB: 04/03/04) 
- Be based in NSW 
- Be able to attend the in-person workshop dates (10 & 11 Feb and 24 t& 25 Feb), tech date 9th March 2024, and performance date 10th March 2024. 

A performer honorarium (an allowance dedicated to travel, accessibility, any other needs for the workshop) of $500 is available to support each participant. 

Accommodation will not be provided - however, please contact us at stories@transmedium.org if you have any concerns and we will do our best to support you.

What are we looking for? The only constraint for this project is that it will need to be performed on stage in front of a live audience. What you do on that stage is completely up to you! We don’t want to box in the content or form - we want to operate outside the box. It’s queer art! Let’s get experimental with it - the weirder, the better!
