5/7/2023 - Inwood Park Get Together
We will be having our first event of the season, at Inwood Park. I will bring some snacks and look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

The location is within Inwood Park at the top tip of manhattan. The park has a lot of history, both of revolutionary war era, native americans and there is a plaque indicating that its the place that the manhattan trade took place ( but other sources say that was in lower manhattan) as well as caves and a lot of birding opportunities as it has the last natural salt marsh in manhattan..it's one of the few untouched areas in Manhattan - a very pretty park as you can see below

Date: Sunday, May 7

Time: 2:30 PM to 6PM

Location:  Inwood Park, Indian Rd & W 218th St

Within  Inwood Park we will be at the lawn fronting on Spuyten Duyvil Creek , about a 2 minute walk into the park, behind some benches along the main path along the water.

To reach Inwood Hill Park, take the 1 train to 215th Street or the A train to 207th Street. The entrance to the park is at 218th Street and Indian Road, four blocks west of Broadway. By car, it is just north of the Dyckman Street exit off the Henry Hudson Parkway.

What Do I Need to Bring?

A chair/blanket to sit as seating is limited, hat, sunscreen and anything else you need.

I will be bringing water and snacks for all...
