Please note that Parents have no right to remove their child/ren from school for the purpose of a holiday. 

Parents may request permission for an absence in exceptional circumstances only.  The school requires proof of the exceptional circumstances in the form of flight details.   This must be emailed to office@st-monicas.hackney.sch.uk

Parents who remove their child/ren during term time, but make no request, may be subject to fixed penalty notice (FPN) issued by Hackney Education.

Please email supporting evidence to office@st-monicas.hackney.sch.uk. You may also bring the evidence to the school office. Your application may be rejected if you do not provide supporting evidence.
