#CleanUpKenyaCoalition - The premier national coalition against pollution in Kenya
Clean Up Kenya was formed in 2015 to draw attention to Kenya’s public sanitation crisis and to empower the dream of a clean, safe and litter-free Kenya through education, collaborations and policy interventions. Since then our work has reached millions of persons, generated many conversations, and inspired thousands of positive actions across Kenya.

We are now escalating our work to quickly achieve the dream of a clean, safe and litter-free Kenya by inviting you to join the #CleanUpKenyaCoalition!

Whether you are a government agency or department, institution of learning, a business, non-governmental organization or multilateral organization operating in Kenya, community organization, school body, environmental activist, media personality, youth, member of the clergy, a celebrity, a student, a public figure, a private citizen or a friend of Kenya, you can join this coalition for FREE today and make a commitment to get Kenya completely clean, safe and litter-free!

You will receive an online certificate and a joining number upon registering as soon as possible.

We are asking all coalition members to submit to FIVE simple commitments:

1. To minimize your waste footprint by adopting sustainable behaviors (e.g using refillable water bottles and/or providing water dispensers in offices, meetings and conferences etc)

2. To dispose waste legally (e.g no littering or illegal dumping etc)

3. To promote and support initiatives that reduce waste footprints in organizations and communities (e.g joining community cleanups or practicing Eco-friendly procurement etc)

4. To act as a resource to other coalition members, help recruit new members to expand the movement and to participate in annual coalition meetings

5. To actively participate in Clean Up Kenya campaigns and activities whenever you have the opportunity to do so

This coalition is child-friendly and children are encouraged to join through the permission of their parents or guardians or schools and under the guidance of an adult. If you need more information you can request for our Child Protection Policy.

NOTE: Once you receive your joining certificate, we encourage coalition members to post this on their social media platforms with the link below to encourage others to also join and don't forget to use the hashtag #CleanUpKenya.
