Our daytime toddler & pre school programs will be returning this fall for a 8-week session!

These child-with-caregiver classes are a fun and interactive program designed to help promote reading to children between the ages 18-36 months (Toddler & Me) and 3-5 years (Pre School Story Hour), for children who are not yet in Grade school. (Kindergarten and up activities will be available to register for on the 1st of each month).

Your child will listen to stories, learn rhymes, songs and finger-plays, complete a craft, play interactive games and with toys that assist in developing fine motor skills and coordination at each class.

Registration is required and space is limited.

Parents may register online beginning at 1pm on August 24 (online registration open 24/7) or in person in the MPR room in the library from 1-4pm August 24, 25 and 26.

In person registration after August 26 can be done by appointment by emailing smclean@jakeepplibrary.com.

Library membership is not required and this program is open to both residents of Steinbach and non-residents. There is no cost to attend.

There is an 8 week session beginning in September, another 8 week session beginning in January. Registration for our January session will begin on January 4th.

TODDLER AND ME classes run from 9:30-10:30am on Tuesdays or Wednesday (September session beginning Sept 6). Registration is required. Ages 18-36 months.

PRE SCHOOL STORY HOUR classes run from 11-12pm on Tuesdays or Wednesday (September session beginning Sept 6). Registration is required. Ages 3-5, not yet in Kindergarten.
