2022 Camp Geiger Staff/Volunteer Application
This is the official application for everyone who wishes to be considered for the 2022 Camp Geiger Staff or any Volunteer position, including part-time/volunteer help or Geiger Staff In Training (GSIT) positions.  For first-time full-time Staff applicants, there will be interviews in November.  In order to be considered in the primary round of selections, your application should be submitted by October 31, 2021.  Applications will continue to be received and reviewed after October 31, but be aware that the goal is to have all full-time Staff positions filled by December 31, 2021.  Therefore, Staff applications received after November 30, 2021 will be considered only on an as needed basis.  Interviews for the GSIT program will be held in January 2022 and selections made by January 31, 2022.

Application Type *
Please select the type of application you are making based on how old you will be at the beginning of next summer.  You must be at least 15 years old in order to be eligible per Missouri state law for a paid Staff position (either Full-time or Part-time).  Full-time Staff members are paid a salary based on your age and grade in school and stay in housing at Camp for the entire summer (except days when Camp is closed between sessions). Part-time Staff members are paid a partial salary and are allowed to arrange limited work schedules and may reside off property most, if not all, nights as arranged with the Camp Director.  Part-time positions are only available for adults.  Adult Staff Volunteers are not paid and usually are at Camp for a limited amount of time (such as only a few hours each day, a few days each week, or only a part of the summer), although they may arrange to serve effectively as a "full-time" Staff member who has opted not to be paid.  GSIT (Geiger Staff In Training) is a special 2-week long volunteer program designed for youth who are either not yet eligible to be hired for staff or not available for a full-time position.  GSIT participants should be at least 14 years old.
