2024 IDC Wichita - Vendor Contract
Innovative Dance Classic Wichita will be on February 17, 2024 at Newton HS and should bring ~1000 people. IDC Wichita is a dance competition for high school dance teams and dance studios. This is the fifth year for the competition.

Tables are provided (tables are between 6-8' long). Booth space is about 8' wide x 6' deep.

The approximate event time is 9am-5pm (exact details will be provided closer to the event). There is a 20 vendor limit. NO food vendors or anything associated with alcohol or CBD. Only one vendor of each type will be permitted. Below you will find the list of booked vendors:

Vendor Contract
This is an agreement between _____________________________(Vendor) and Innovative Dance Classic (Innovative Choreography & Newton Railiners Dance Team). This contract is for Innovative Dance Classic held on February 17, 2024 at Newton High School. During the time leading up to the even, Innovative Choreography will advertise/recommend the vendor to their clients. On 2/17/24, the Vendor will have a table/booth located in the commons of NHS.  Vendors may sell items from the beginning of the competition (time is TBA) to the conclusion of the competition (ending time is TBA). Tables are provided, and electricity is available (please bring an extension cord).

Terms of agreement:
*Innovative Choreography will display your information on their website. They will also post on social media about the vendor as advertising prior to February 17th, 2024.

*The vendor will pay Innovative Choreography, in the form of credit card or Venmo, $50 as an advertising and booth rental fee.


*The vendor will be responsible for delivering and setting up the table/booth at NHS on 2/17/24 (note: table is provided).  You may arrive at one hour prior to the competition start time (TBA).  The vendor is responsible for cleaning up the table/booth at the conclusion of the event.

*The vendor will be responsible for all payments with the clients.

*Innovative Dance Classic, Innovative Choreography, and Newton High School are not responsible for any customer claims.

In order to induce Innovative Choreography and Newton HS to accept the application of the undersigned applicant will not hold Innovative Choreography or Newton High School or its owner, directors, or employees liable for injuries sustained while participating in our competition.

Language from the Kansas Department of Revenue:

  • "All federal, state, and local laws governing retail sales tax must be followed. I understand the rules and regulations of the event and will comply. I realize that failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event."

  • All vendors must display the Retailers' Sales Tax Registration Event Certificate (Innovative Choreography will give this to you at the event). 

  • The event sales tax packet may be used in lieu of individual registration if you participate in four or fewer events in a calendar year (Innovative Choreography will give this to you at the event). The event sales tax account packet can only be used if tax is remitted within 25 days of the event.

What's next?
You will receive a confirmation email from Innovative Choreography 24-48 hours after your application is received. Innovative Choreography will send either a Venmo request or an invoice to collect your payment.

Once payment is received, you have confirmed your booth. As a reminder, only one vendor of each type is permitted. Payment solidifies your spot.
