This is a volunteer Community Manager position for the subreddit r/Medical.
Community Managers must have healthcare education or experience. Students are also welcome.
Using Discord to communicate with the Mod Team is a requirement.
If chosen, you will be contacted via Reddit DMs or via Discord DMs. Please make sure you are able to receive direct messages from others on Reddit/Discord. (This should be in your settings on both applications. Please review your settings.)

- Fact-checking to prevent misinformation.
- Managing unhelpful/harmful behavior and resolving disputes.
- Using your healthcare education to contribute directly to the community.
- Implementing sanctions for rule violations.
Perks:
- Moderator permissions.
- Direct involvement in the community with a focus on healthcare.
- Less tasked with the standard Moderator duties, although it will be a part of your tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
- Healthcare personnel with a passion for community well-being.
- Willingness to review and address misinformation, based on current evidence.
- Able to provide quality replies and be an active presence.
- As part of the Moderation Team for r/medical, you will be welcomed to our Discord server and asked to participate in discussions regarding the subreddit.
