Dance Project Details
We are so excited to offer the Countywide 4-H Dance Project! This project will be primarily video-based. Richter Academy of Classical Dance will be providing some amazing content through videos of student dance performances, dance competitions, interviews of dance teachers, and the history of dance. Video links will made available to the registered project members along with the project outline and special instructions via email. We will also be offering two dance classes for each level on Zoom. You will have the opportunity to make lesson selections based on your interests. You will need to select at least 6 hours of lessons to get credit for this project.
Sign ups for additional videos for introductory dance instruction, based on age and dance experience, will be offered at a future date for members.
Kelly Speakman is the Project Leader, supported by Teen Leaders Hayley Halaby and Isabelle Speakman.
A make-up project meeting is being offered on Tuesday, February 9th from 7:30-8:30 where we will introduce the project. Additional meeting dates and times are still to be determined.
A video link for The Nutcracker, performed by Richter Academy of Classical Dance students last year, will be sent to new members. If possible, please watch it prior to our meeting so that we can discuss it together. Looking forward to meeting you!
