Coleman Community Schools works at all times to be proactive and ensure the safety of our students, staff and families.
We will again be providing summer breakfast and lunch for all children ages 0-18 (or age 26 with an IEP) for the weeks of June 14th- August 2nd. Students do not need to be enrolled in Coleman Community Schools. However, families do need to pre-register to ensure we have an accurate count.
You MUST do a separate survey for EACH child you would like to receive food ages 0 -18 (age 26 for those with an IEP). Breakfast and lunch will be provided for each child on a weekly basis for 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches weekly.
Any students who become enrolled in our summer learning programs will be provided breakfast and lunch during the days they are in attendance and will take home the balance of the meals at the end of each week. Information on when these meals will be sent home each week will come home for those families.
Food for those children who are NOT part of the summer learning programs will need to be picked up on MONDAYS FROM 3-5:00 P.M. at the side entrance doors of the Jr./Sr. High. There will NOT be busing or other distribution sites.
Anyone wishing to receive food during these times MUST fill out all information required. We do not want to waste or have a shortage of food. Calls will be made if a family does not pick up food.
Everyone must be pre-registered and the best way to do so is at this link online through a device (including your phone). If anyone is unable to do so online, you can contact 989.442.1997 or send information to
kszymanski@colemanschools.net to have questions answered. YOU MUST FILL OUT A SEPARATE SURVEY FOR EACH CHILD TO RECEIVE FOOD.
