2020 Renewable Energy Summit 101 Sessions
New this year, RENEW Wisconsin is offering two 101 sessions at our Annual Renewable Energy Summit to take place on January 16th, 2020 at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI.

RENEWABLE ENERGY 101 • Presented by Sam Dunaiski
Aimed at renewable energy newcomers, arrive early for a discussion of renewable energy technologies and how they are used in Wisconsin. The goal of this session is to give you a foundation to get even more out of the rest of the Summit!

ELECTRICAL GRID 101 • Presented by Lauren Azar
Learn how the electricity grid works today, and how the grid will be evolving to handle more renewable energy and more distributed technologies like solar power, batteries, and electric vehicles.

Both sessions are free and open to the public, but participants must register. The 101 Sessions will take place simultaneously at 7:30 AM on January 16th, 2020, before the opening address of the Summit.

Registering for a 101 Session DOES NOT register you for the rest of the Summit. If you're interested in attending all of the day's programming, you can register here: https://www.renewwisconsin.org/renewable-energy-summit. Likewise, if you have already registered for the Summit, we would still appreciate you indicating your plans to attend a 101 Session so that we can plan accordingly.

Thank you!
