9th Grade Math Placement Test
This year, the math placement for incoming 9th grade students is determined by the report card grades they earned in their 8th grade math course, their performance on the District Math Placement Test, and student request. The opportunity to retake the District Math Placement Test will be offered and should only apply to a minimal number of students whose score does not reflect past academic performance and where the parent believes the child’s placement is not appropriate.  Any incoming 9th grade student who is new to the district should also take this assessment to aide counselors with appropriate math course placement.
