Youth Mission Experience 2022 - June 12-18 - Nashville, TN

All 6th-12th grade youth (grade completed) are invited to join our 2022 Youth Mission Experience the week of June 12-18. We will be traveling to Nashville, TN to partner with Connect Ministries. Connect is a ministry started by a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister and seeks to empower people to put their faith into action through service and justice in ways that are relational, sustainable and dignity giving.

In Nashville we will learn from and work alongside folks committed to the work of addressing homelessness and housing justice. Participants will learn as many different ways to approach the issue as possible, build relationships with people who are affected by the issue and who have devoted their lives to help solving it, in hopes of discovering new skills, passions, and insights to share in the long-term work of justice at home.

Each day will offer opportunities for relationship building, service, reflection, worship, and fun, including an intentional day of sabbath to enjoy Nashville at the end of our week.

Faith is something that we put into action and we hope these experiences help us to learn how to do that in ways that shape us not just for the week, but in our everyday lives.
