Summer 2024 OHS/MCC Dual Enrollment Application & Course Selection
The MiraCosta College offers 2 different opportunities for OUSD students to take college courses: OHS/MCC Dual Enrollment & MCC Concurrent Enrollment

Differences between Dual & Concurrent Enrollment:
Dual Enrollment has NO FEES for OHS students (students receive free books and tuition)
Dual Enrollment Courses are limited but exclusive to OUSD/OHS students
Concurrent Enrollment requires students to pay for a small student fee, books and materials
Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students to enroll in ANY course on the MiraCosta Schedule

Similarities of Dual & Concurrent Enrollment:
-Students receive MiraCosta College credit
-Students have the option of requesting high school credits (10 credits for a 3 unit class)
-Students receive a weighted letter grade if the course is added to their high school transcript
-Students may use courses towards Honors Graduation Requirements

MCC Concurrent Enrollment Program allows high school students to enroll in ANY MiraCosta College Course (in-person or online) that is listed in the MiraCosta Summer Course Schedule.

OHS/MCC Dual Enrollment Program offers specific MiraCosta College courses ONLY to Oceanside High School / OUSD students that are taught in-person or virtually.

Below are descriptions of the course offerings for Summer 2024.
