Juneteenth Celebration in Fall River on June 8, 2024 at Kennedy Pavilion Park from 11pm-6pm. Rain date June 9 

(There are also opportunities to participate in addition cities. Indicate below which ones you would like to participate)

The 2024 Juneteenth Celebration is a celebration everyone can enjoy and features live music and entertainment, artist demonstrations, historic storytelling, re-enactors, and marketplace vendors selling a variety of ware, products, and art. A children’s area will be available with educational and family-friendly activities. In addition, festival -goers will find many vendors selling food unique handcrafted exceptional art, locally produced products, and much more aligned with the cultural representations found at the festival.

VENDOR POLICIES

VENDOR REGISTRATION:
All vendors are reviewed for accep­tance by the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee. It is our goal to have a wide vari­ety of unique specialties, and prod­ucts by artists, crafters, and vintage dealers. We are excited and look forward to seeing you and your products! The festival will be located in the same location as last year Kennedy Park Pavilion Fall River, MA.  Vendors will be allowed to check in and start setting up as early as 8:30 am and all vendors must be in attendance and checked in by 10 am (NO EXCEPTIONS). Due to the overwhelming amount of emails, we encourage you to register ASAP. ALSO, TABLES & TENTS are Not provided: however, they are a necessity to participate. Please ensure you have both.  To ensure all items are handcrafted, you will be asked to provide the following in your application:

  • A link to photos of your products online (online store, business website, or social page)

  • Explain to us about your process and why you think your products would be a good fit for the  Juneteenth Festival Marketplace

HOW TO APPLY:
Vendor applications will be open on April 1, 2024, and will remain open until all available spaces have been filled.  All applicants will receive a response from us within 7 days or sooner by email.  Once your application has been processed, you’ll be sent a confirmation email and an invoice which can be paid by cash app online. If your payment is not received by June 5th, 2023 the marketplace will withdraw and cancel your application.

Space is 10X10. The above prices are only applicable to Fall River. Other locations are as follows: All other vendors $150  youth vendor $75 .

Acceptable Payments

Payments can be made via:

  • Check made payable to Bristol Black Collective, P.O. Box 4193, Fall River, MA 02723 
  • Cash App to $BristolBlackCo with the note listed as “Juneteenth 2024”
  • Paypal. 

If making a donation list in notes as "donation" If making payment list note as “Juneteenth 2024”

BOOTH SHARING:
Sharing a booth with another vendor is not allowed unless permission is first granted by Bristol Black Collective and  the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee.

TAX ID CERTIFICATES:
Tax ID Numbers are required in Massachusetts. All Exhibitors must be in compliance with State & Federal Tax Laws and display Tax ID Certificate in the booth. This is required for both in-state and out-of-state vendors. If you do not have a tax id certificate, you can obtain one online in a few minutes at no cost. Click HERE to register with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

VENDOR GUIDELINES:

  • We do not provide or rent any setup material ie: tables, chairs, tents, weights, etc

  • Vendor Spaces must be attended to at all times
  • Vehicles are not permitted in the vending area except to load and unload at the designated times.
  • Only sturdy tents with canopies are permitted

  • Floor-length tablecloths are required for all display tables

  • Additional stock and boxes must be kept hidden under the display

  • Rented space must be kept tidy during operating hours

  • Your goods/displays must not extend outside of your tent area

  • A minimum of 40 lbs per tent leg is mandatory for all tents (cinder block, water jugs, and other crude weight methods are not permitted) NO STAKES are allowed.

  • Smoking is not permitted

  • All personal trash must be hauled away at the close of the day

SETUP EMAILS:
A setup email will be sent to all vendors the Thursday prior to the event with your space assignment.

WEATHER POLICY:
The Juneteenth Market is a rain-or-shine event. By choosing to participate in a rain-or-shine market, vendors assume all risks associated with adverse weather conditions. Rain date is June 9, 2024

REFUND POLICY:
In the event you need to cancel a paid reservation, credits will only be issued toward future markets or events in 2024. Credits do not extend into the next calendar year.

CODE OF CONDUCT:
In order to ensure the quality and enjoyment of the market and to promote a safe and positive atmosphere, we ask that all vendors act in accordance with the following:

  • No Loud Music from Booth

  • Act with respect toward other persons, their privacy, and safety.

  • Physical or verbal abuse to fellow vendors, customers, or market management of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • All persons shall treat public and private property and equipment with respect.

  • Please report any activity that is deemed inappropriate to festival team members. Any violation of the Code of Conduct by a vendor will result in immediate removal from the market without a refund. Bristol Black Collective, the Fall River Juneteenth Committee, owners, landlords, man­agers and pro­mot­ers reserve the right to restrict or ter­mi­nate any vendor’s activ­ity which, in their opin­ion, is disruptive, slanderous, inap­pro­pri­ate or is detri­men­tal to the qual­ity of the event as a whole. In the event of any restric­tions or evic­tions,  Bristol Black Collective and  the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee., and its affil­i­ates will not be liable for any refund of rental or other expenses.

PROMOTER STATEMENT:
In the event of any restric­tions or evic­tions,  Bristol Black Collective and the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee and its affil­i­ates will not be liable for any refund of rental or other expenses.  Bristol Black Collective and  the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee.,  man­agers, and pro­mot­ers reserve the right to remove, with­out refund or recourse, any exhibitor who mis­rep­re­sents him­self or his prod­uct. In addi­tion, the pro­moter reserves the right not to select ven­dors who may not be suit­able for the market.  Bristol Black Collective and the Southeastern Juneteenth Committee reserve the right to amend or add to the applic­a­ble rules per­tain­ing to and gov­ern­ing the Juneteenth Mar­ket at any time dur­ing and before the oper­at­ing sea­son without notice. The inter­pre­ta­tion of all the rules by the pro­mot­ers shall be final.
