Places are strictly limited so it will be on a first come first served basis:

CHAMBER MUSIC DAY - We have space for post grade 5 string players (violins, violas, cellos). Supported by Soundstorm and Poole Society for Young Musicians -  £45 for day 9.30am -  4.00pm and includes the two compulsory preparatory sessions**.

** TWO PREPARATORY PROFESSIONAL COACHING SESSIONS FOR THE CHAMBER MUSIC DAY ON:
9th and 23rd OCTOBER at 2pm - 4pm

AND

ANY LEVEL flautist from grade 1 + Age 10 to up to age 18 - split into two sessions on same day and one non-compulsory preparatory session*

FLUTE 1 - Grade 1 up to Grade 4 - 9.30pm - 11.45am (parent/carers please arrive at 11.30 to see short performance of work covered).  Fees supported by Soundstorm and Poole Society for Young Musicians -  £15  

FLUTE 2 - Grade 5+ - 12.45pm - until 4.00pm (please arrive at 3.45pm to see a short performance of work covered).  Fees supported by Soundstorm and Poole Society for Young Musicians -  £20  

*ONE NON COMPULSORY PREPARATORY SESSION FOR FLUTE GROUPS ON:
23rd OCTOBER - details to be confirmed once we know the split of Grades applying for each of the flute sessions.


NB: You will be required to be available the Chamber Music day and the two preparatory sessions  in order to participate.  

A preparatory flute session will be arranged; it isn't compulsory but will help all young flautists get the most out of their time on the day of the workshop.

Venue: Bournemouth and Poole College - North Road Campus, Poole.

***IMPORTANT*** Fees to be paid by the application deadline 30th September 2021 paid by bank transfer or cheque to: “Poole Society for Young Musicians” with clear name of participant and FLUTE1, FLUTE2 or CHAMB on transfer. Sort code: 30 96 73 Acc no: 00015208 OR cheque to: 54 Upton Way Broadstone BH18 9LZ  we prefer by bank transfer but if paying by cheque please ensure that the name of the participant is written on the back or send stapled to the application form.

Please kindly note that it will not be possible to refund fees for withdrawal of students from the sessions, unless there are extenuating circumstances, due to costs involved in support of these workshops. If for any reason the courses do not run  (we are not anticipating this) a full refund will be given.  We remind you that if your child or anyone in the household is covid positive that they should not attend.
