Office of Undergraduate Research Faculty Mentor Travel Award for Conference Presentation
This grant is for travel to external conferences or competitions by ACU faculty who mentor undergraduate student(s) in research or creative activities to either:

1. Accompany students that are giving oral or poster presentations, juried shows or performances.

OR

2.  Give an oral or poster presentation, a juried show or a performance in which an undergraduate student assisted the faculty in the work.

To receive funding, an ACU faculty member is not required to take the student with them to the conference. However, if the student is not attending, the faculty member should should provide a reasonable justification why the student cannot attend and explain the student's participation in the project.

This grant cycle is valid for travel to conferences from June 2019 - August 2019.

Applications are due by Friday, May 3 at 5 PM.
 
These grants are for up to $1000 per conference.

Any awarded funds will be transferred to a departmental FOAP provided by the faculty member on the budget page. The department then can pay for the expenses or reimburse the faculty mentor as appropriate.

If you receive this grant you will be expected to send pictures from the conference to uresearch@acu.edu.
