The American Rescue Plan Funds provides funds for school districts to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students, and districts must create a Safe Return Plan for the return to complete in-person learning. As part of the Safe Return Plan, school districts must answer specific questions and seek public comments to inform the finalized Plan. The J.C.P.S. will review the plan every six months, and with each update, there will be an opportunity for public comments.
Please keep your comments relative to the J.C.P.S. Safe Return Plan. Please note that the plan will be revised to reflect changes from the New Jersey Department of Education, CDC, State of NJ and Jersey City Health Department.
