Candidature Defence for Semester 1 2023/2024 

- The presentation will be conducted online/Physical. 
- Presentation of Progress Report in 20 minutes and 20 minutes for Question and Answer.
- The faculty will suggest a date of presentation 2 weeks after the application

TIMEFRAME
i. Doctor of Philosophy candidates are required to present the research progress at Candidature Defence not later than the fifth (5th) semester of candidature;

ii. Master (by Research) candidates are required to present the research progress at Candidature Defence not later than the third (3rd) semester of the candidature;

iii. Master (by Mixed-mode) candidates are required to present the research progress at Candidature Defence not later than the fourth (4th) semester of the candidature;

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to prepare a softcopy of research proposal report between 7,000 to 10,000 words. The softcopy research proposal that had been check by the supervisor must be submitted to the assessors at least 1 weeks before the date of presentation (through postgraduate office/supervisor).
