Die Trageschule® Dresden are going to run annual training days (Dresdner TrageTage "carrying days") as an online event in 2024. This is a three-day training. To make the training accessible, the plan is for this CPD event is to provide one day of pre-recorded training to study in your own time and 2 days of intensive online, live presentations with babywearing experts on the 11 and 12 April.

This is a unique opportunity for babywearing consultants and professionals who work with parents in the first year of their baby's life. The core concept underpinning this training is that collaboration in an interdisciplinary team is an essential starting point for finding successful babywearing solutions, solutions that are only possible if physiotherapy, other therapies, a baby's medical team and babywearing consultancy work hand-in-hand, in close consultation with parents and caregivers. The case studies explored in this course are examples of how disciplines can work together. This course benefits experts in all fields, including babywearing consultants, paediatricians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and osteopaths and anyone who works with parents during the first year of their baby's life.

Not only is it possible for many infants with additional needs to enjoy the contact and comfort of being safely and comfortably carried with an individualised solution, babywearing can, in fact, be very beneficial--many types of therapy for babies and small children include principles and modes of movement that are already a part of babywearing. This online edition of the Dresdner TrageTage (DDTT) is designed to give babywearing consultants more confidence in their work with parents, children, and therapists.
