The Edmonton International Cat Festival is seeking applications from Edmonton area cat rescues who would like to be considered as donation recipients for our 2024 fundraising festival taking place this May 2024.

ABOUT THE CAT FESTIVAL:

The Edmonton International Cat Festival is the only festival of its kind in Alberta, and was the first festival of its kind in Canada when it began in 2014. The Cat Fest brings together cat lovers to celebrate cats and cat culture, while raising money and awareness for cat rescues! 100% of proceeds from the festival is donated to rescues and there are A TON of CATivities, cat-themed vendors, and all-things CATS happening on site.

Since 2014, the festival has raised $146,000 for local rescues!

ABOUT THE 2024 EVENT:

The 2024 Cat Festival takes place on Caturday, May 25, 2024 in Downtown Edmonton at MacEwan Robbins Health Centre. Throughout May, the Cat Festival Committee is also putting on some exciting standalone cat-themed events outside of the big event. The May 25 pawty will be our 10-year anniversary and first time back at a BIG venue since 2019 / before the pandemic. It's going to be AMEOWZING!
