Thank you for your inquiry.

Ogimi Village, known for longevity, is a small village in Okinawa, where traditional longevity culture still remains.

This program is held with cooperation of the local residents who welcome guests with gratitude and hospitality. While we appreciate your respect and understanding, please also be mindful of showing respect to the local community.

In recent years, life in Ogimi has been featured in works such as "IKIGAI" (by Hector Garcia) and Netflix's "100 Years”, but it's important to note that not everyone in Ogimi follows the lifestyle depicted in these portrayals.

While a vegetable-centric diet is common among the elderly, pork is also consumed, and not everyone participates in the practice of "moai" (Local gathering). Additionally, due to factors like the impact of COVID-19, it's not guaranteed that you will meet individuals aged over 80, 90, 100 during the tour.

With this understanding, we welcome those who are eager to explore the secrets of longevity through village exploration and homestays.

The inquiry form has multiple questions, but we appreciate your cooperation. Thank you.
