The Lands We Knew - signup form

Visit UNCA on Feb 27th and join local photographer Mike Talyad of Jungle Branch as he takes us on a journey to disappearing jungles and other ecosystems around the globe. This eye-opening presentation explores topics like climate change, critically endangered species, and the conservation efforts to protect them and the lands they depend on.

From Sumatra Indonesia's palm oil-ridden landscapes to the lush jungles of the Peruvian Amazon, to the coast of California and mountains of Appalachia, this one-(ish)hour photographic storytelling connects the dots of perpetuated colonialism and the impacts on our planet near and far.

This event is free and open to the public. Please sign up so that we know approximately how many folks to expect.  Should sign ups reach room capacity, we will create a wait list.
