GANAS Mentor Application
GANAS is a leadership, mentorship, and developmental program for GateWay students who identify as Hispanic and/or Latinx/a/o. If you wish to be a mentor to a GateWay student in the GANAS program, please complete the application below. Please note that mentors will be matched to students based on interests in career, skills, and/or connections to community organizations. If you have any questions, please contact dei@gatewaycc.edu.

Check the box below to acknowledge the following statement of expectations and complete your application: "I am volunteering to spend at least 2-4 hours per month during the 2022-23 academic year as a mentor to a student participating in GateWay Community College's GANAS program. Prior to the program starting, I will complete a brief training on mentorship, including an overview of guidelines and expectations for mentors. In addition to holding monthly meetings with my mentee, I will be responsible for maintaining a professional line of communication with my mentee to help them navigate questions or issues related to their goals. Last, I will commit to responding to GANAS program administrators within three business days regarding any requests for information or updates." *
