This form is a centralized entry point for all UC Berkeley students facing challenges with access to adequate food, stable housing, financial resources, or other areas of basic needs.
DELAY: Due to a high volume of submissions, response times will differ depending on the urgency of your need. We must prioritize students who are unhoused or will be unhoused within 72 hours. Students with other needs can expect a response within 7-10 business days.

- For EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SUPPORT, consider a short-term emergency loan through the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office (no-interest)
- For CALFRESH SUPPORT, the BNC hosts CalFresh Clinics to assist with application assistance, one-on-one application support, as well as weekly open hours for CalFresh questions. Sign-up for CalFresh help here.
All UC Berkeley students are eligible for support, including grad, undergrad, international, and undocumented students. Unfortunately staff, faculty, and visiting scholars are ineligible to receive emergency housing or financial support, but can access our Food Pantry and CalFresh resources.
