March 20 - 21,, 2020 in Chicago, IL
Welcome to "What's Really Good: A National Symposium on Break Beat Education & Culture"
Join us for a weekend exploring the ways BreakBeat culture and education have been and are continuously influenced by young creatives, hip hop poetics, and the myriad expressions of music, art, and movement.
Guest presenters will share the magic behind powerful programs, cultural moments, and inspiring resources to fuel the Break Beat Industry. Additionally, the Symposium attendees will be guests at the 20th Anniversary Team Finals of the Louder Than A Bomb Youth Poetry Festival.
We're excited to gather the national and international field as we continue to share knowledge and build capacity together.
We ask that Symposium attendees arrive no later than 10am Friday, March 20th and plan to stay until at least 3pmpm on Saturday, March 21st. There is no registration fee for the event but each group is responsible for their own housing and transportation. We will provide continental breakfast each day. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
Registration should just take a few minutes. If you have any questions please email
