Binoculars for Young Black Birders: Nomination Form
This past summer, there was a fundraiser to purchase binoculars for Black K-12 students in Athens-Clarke County in order to encourage and facilitate bird watching among local Black K-12 students. We are soliciting nominations of individual K-12 Black students (including recent graduates) in Athens-Clarke County who would be particularly excited or benefit from their own pair of binoculars. With any remaining funds, we are also soliciting names of teachers whose classrooms or educational programs could benefit from a few pairs of binoculars.
