Hands-on and place-based civic education workshops exploring municipal engagement and urban planning, rooted in justice, equity, and accessibility. 

CityShapers in Schools is a classroom-based workshop series that explores governance, city planning, and the diverse pathways towards youth civic participation. Interdisciplinary by nature, our interactive civic education sessions invite students to explore their own relationships and experiences with the built environments they navigate, with the governments attached to these places, and with the levers for change available to them to address the pressing urban challenges they care about most. 

Please note that we are accepting bookings for dates beginning the week of October 23rd, 2023 and onward through to June 2024.

*Priority will be given to school bookings for 2+ classes at a time - Invite your colleagues to join in on the booking!  
*Sessions are designed to be offered consecutively or spaced apart by a few days or a few weeks.
