Enjoy a day of snowshoeing at one of the region’s premiere outdoor winter experience centers. A shuttle will pick you up at Amherst College and bring you to Notchview Reservation in Windsor, MA. Our team will help get you set up with gear and tickets then you are free to explore until 3 pm. While this is typically an ideal spot for cross country skiing, the snow conditions are not currently safe, as it is mostly ice. We will provide snowshoes and trekking poles for everyone, and a box lunch from Atkins Farms Is included in this experience.

**Note: The best footwear for snowshoes is hiking boots. If you don’t have hiking boots, a low-cut walker or trail running shoe will work. There won’t be any deep snow and we really are using the snowshoes for traction. Uggs and other slip-on type boots are not great as your boot will move around with the weight of the snowshoes and cause chafing and might even fall off! **
